Israel and the U.S. attacked Iran again on February 28, 2026. This is an illegal and unprovoked war in clear violation of international law and the UN Charta. The air strikes sabotaged the U.S.-Iran nuclear talks in Oman and fueled international concerns about a major war in the Middle East, with widespread human suffering and regional turmoil. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's Supreme Leader, was assassinated.
