This year’s Right Livelihood Award Laureates are being honoured for their transformative contributions across regions facing crisis and change.

First is Sudan’s Emergency Response Rooms, grassroots community groups providing lifesaving humanitarian aid amid war and state collapse.

Justice for Myanmar, a covert activist network, is recognised for exposing the country’s military financial networks and pushing for accountability.

The Pacific Island Students Fighting Climate Change, together with lawyer Julian Aguon from Guam, are celebrated for advancing legal frameworks to protect future generations from the climate crisis.

Finally, Audrey Tang, Taiwan’s former digital minister, is awarded for her pioneering work in building inclusive digital democracy and empowering civic participation.
